Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival in Masai Mara
Arrive at the airstrip in Masai Mara where you will be met and transferred to Mara Intrepids Tented Camp.
Check-in and enjoy lunch at the camp.
16:00 Hrs: Afternoon game drive in the reserve until sunset.
Masai Mara National Reserve is one of Africa’s most famous safari destinations, celebrated for its abundant wildlife and stunning landscapes. Home to the Big Five—lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and buffalo—the Mara also hosts vast herds of zebras, giraffes, hippos, and diverse bird species. From June to October, it becomes the stage for the legendary wildebeest and zebra migration, with dramatic river crossings and predator encounters. Overnight and dinner at Mara Intrepids Tented Camp.
Full Day in Masai Mara
05:00 Hrs: Optional hot air balloon safari over the Mara with a bush breakfast and champagne (additional cost). Return to the lodge by 09:00 Hrs.
Alternatively, enjoy a morning game drive starting at 06:30 Hrs and return for breakfast at the camp.
Lunch, followed by an afternoon at leisure at the camp.
16:00 Hrs: Evening game drive until late evening.
Overnight and dinner at Mara Intrepids Tented Camp
Full Day in Masai Mara
06:30 Hrs: Morning game drive to explore different parts of the Mara and spot wildlife at their most active.
Return to the lodge for lunch.
Afternoon game drive or leisure time at the lodge.
16:00 Hrs: Final evening game drive before sunset.
Overnight and dinner at Mara Intrepids Tented Camp.
Departure
After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi.
On arrival in Nairobi, transfer to your hotel or the airport for onward departure.
