After reaching the park in the afternoon, check in at your lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch. Later in the afternoon, embark on a thrilling game drive, where you’ll have the chance to spot rhinos, lions, and an impressive variety of birds.

Lake Nakuru National Park is renowned for its central lake and diverse wildlife, including four of the "Big Five"—lion, rhino, leopard, and buffalo—as well as baboons, impalas, and occasional flamingos. The Masai Mara is celebrated worldwide for its abundant wildlife, including the "Big Five" and other species such as giraffes, hippos, zebras, and Thomson's gazelles. Its expansive savannahs offer picture-perfect backdrops for photography and game drives alike.

A key highlight of the Masai Mara is the Great Migration, an awe-inspiring spectacle where over a million wildebeest, zebras, and other herbivores traverse the plains in search of fresh grazing. This phenomenon, typically occurring between June and October, draws predators such as lions and crocodiles, creating dramatic wildlife encounters.

Day 13
Exploring the Masai Mara

You have the flexibility to choose how you'd like to explore the Masai Mara. Opt for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch to maximize your time in the wilderness, or split your experience into two shorter game drives—one in the morning and another in the evening—with breaks for meals and relaxation at the lodge.

For those seeking unique experiences, optional activities are available at an additional cost. These include a hot-air balloon safari, offering breathtaking views of the Mara plains followed by a bush breakfast with champagne (USD 500 per person), or a cultural visit to a traditional Masai Manyatta village (USD 30 per person).
