Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1
Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

07:00 hrs: Meet your driver-guide at your hotel for a briefing. Depart for Masai Mara via the Rift Valley (brief stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint).
Arrival: Check in at your lodge for lunch and relaxation.

16:00 hrs: Evening game drive in Masai Mara until sunset.

Masai Mara offers a diverse and abundant range of wildlife throughout the year. Visitors can easily spot animals such as lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, leopards, elephants, gazelles, impalas, and many other antelopes. The park is also home to a wide variety of bird species.

One of the most remarkable features of Masai Mara is the annual migration of thousands of wildebeests and zebras from the Serengeti, crossing borders and rivers to reach the Mara. This event, which occurs between June and October, is a thrilling spectacle, with predators such as lions, hyenas, and vultures closely tracking the migrating herds. The highlight of the migration is witnessing the dramatic Mara River crossing, where the animals are attacked by crocodiles as they make their perilous journey.

Masai Mara National Reserve

Option 1: Hot Air Balloon Ride: (At extra cost) Early morning flight with a bush breakfast and champagne.

Option 2: Game Drive: 06:30 hrs, enjoy a morning game drive before breakfast.
Leisure: Rest of the morning at leisure.

16:00 hrs: Another game drive in the park.

Day 3
Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

Breakfast at the lodge. Thereafter depart for Lake Nakuru National Park arriving at your lodge in time for lunch. Check in at your lodge for lunch.

16:00 hrs: Late afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru, known for flamingos and rhinos.

Lake Nakuru National Park, located 150 km from Nairobi, is renowned for its large population of flamingos and diverse bird species. Initially a bird sanctuary, it was later designated a national park and is now a Rhino Sanctuary. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including Black and White Rhinos, Rothschild Giraffes, Lions, Buffalo, Gazelles, and more.

Day 4
Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

Check out from your lodge and depart for Lake Naivasha.

Afternoon at leisure or optional nature walks.

Day 5
Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park

07:30 hrs: Check out from your lodge and depart for Amboseli National Park. En route, stop for lunch in Nairobi or enjoy a picnic lunch along the way.

Arrival: Arrive in Amboseli late afternoon, with a game drive en route to your lodge.

Amboseli National Park is famous for its large herds of elephants and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The park also hosts a diverse range of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, rhinos, and numerous bird species. With its unique landscapes and rich Maasai culture, Amboseli is one of the best safari destination that offers a blend of wildlife encounters and cultural experiences.

Amboseli National Park

Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park

06:30 hrs: Morning game drive followed by breakfast.
09:00 hrs: Depart for Tsavo West National Park, arriving for lunch at Kilaguni Serena Lodge.

15:30 hrs: Afternoon game drive.

Tsavo West National Park is a vast and diverse park known for its stunning landscapes, including Shaitani Lava flows and Mzima Springs, and its rich wildlife. Animals easily spotted in this Park includes: elephants, lions, vervet monkeys, antelope, baboons, giraffes, cheetah, zebras, hippos, Lesser Kudu and many others. The park is a birdwatcher's paradise, hosting 600 bird species, and is home to the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, which protects the endangered black rhino.

Tsavo West National Park

Tsavo West to Mombasa

0900hrs: After breakfast at your lodge, check out and depart for Mombasa, located along the Indian Ocean coast, renowned for its pristine beaches, historical landmarks, and vibrant cultural heritage.

Arrival in Mombasa: You'll arrive in the afternoon and be transferred to your hotel located at Bamburi Beach, known for its stunning coastline and excellent beach resorts.

Check-in and Leisure: Check-in at your hotel and enjoy some time to relax by the beach or explore the area.
